When there were big changes with the Board he flew straight over to Kal and held a meeting to tell staff exactly what was going on, and what to expect which is delivering. This is the sign of an excellent manager.

Communication and respect is high from and for Andre as far as I could tell in the brief visit. I moved to the country a long time ago and like the way country people operate. The culture is to look at what you do rather than listen to what you say - I follow this standard and have the highest regard for the man. As an analyst i hope my forte is perception beyond the mere crunching of numbers ...and meeting people allows me to assess a great deal more than words can convey.

Since he took the reins the recovery has accelerated. The staff I met all seemed comfortable, focused and upbeat - no BS around the man or the operation. Process efficiency and hard work with a high level of dedication were plain to see. Andre is keeping it real and putting the runs on the board.

Market conditions may push the share price around but the company in in good hands and should continue on this path now. Of course mining is a difficult game and things take time you have to understand that as a mining stock investor. You also have to understand the difference between SP and operations, the lag effect and disconnection based on the macro trends and events. All things covered I see a good management and a sound operational trend.
