"Raising the full $100m needed to be 'fully funded' to production would seem very sensible since it's only 10% dilution."
Agreed
"Head grade of 5-6g/t was also a very bold expectation (not complaining if it happens,"
If just for NN UG so taking out the open cut portion of NN and I feel 6g/t is about right for head grade as SL used a a low top cut as well which should keep the reconciliation at close to a 6 gram a tonne reserve rather than getting under call , plus contact to contact is very wide so dilution becomes not a big variance possibility .
However the average mill feed will be lower than 6 g/t if they start on open cutting some of those lodes in the Dalgaranga pit or at Flying fox .
Interesting question probably best answered by management but to stick my sticky beak in :
Personally I can not see power costs per tonne processed , making much difference between 50% and 100% capacity as would you not be processing on a campaign basis at 50% capacity ie run the plant for two weeks at full throughput , on two 12 hour shifts , then two weeks off for plant and main crew and then do the same over and over for your "50% capacity " ?
Would not the only extra big power cost be for keeping the agitators and pumps in the CIL tanks turning constantly for up to the two weeks the main crew are off ( I dont know the residency time probably only a couple of days needed ) -just have a maintenance crew on standby , and fill up the fine ore bin prior to each restart , may even get higher recoveries from the CIL circuit as a bonus and potentially less breakdown worries as the fine ore bin (assuming there is one ) is extra redundancy if the crushers break down or there is a problem under ground with getting ore to the ROM pad ?![]()
Guessing 80% of power costs for a plant is in Comminution which per unit of power required is independent of Tpa throughput .
