Indeed I could write a whole book on this topic alone. And I wouldn't really even have to mention PAR, I could keep it quite generally, applicable to anything with decent potential.

Such topics I would cover would include, but surely not limited to:


How to know If you have enough?


What are some of the parameters to be guided by?


How does one both profit from a lift and yet can conserve for the future to take advantage?


What are some of the strategies employable to take advantage of swings and yet still be that long term investor?




But at the end of the day we are all individuals and of course what I reckon is right, may be totally wrong for the next person. That's the beauty of a good financial planner, they will have general templates but should be able to craft something that's good for the individual they work with.

Finally at the end of the day its a good combo of education and experience that does tend to work well. Of course knowing risks and knowing that not all can and will work out is also healthy. The law of at least some diversification. One day I will at least cover this topic on it's own when I find myself running thin on PAR related research.
