Guerilla or terrorist, white russian or red russian, royalist or republican. if the "guerilla" does not carry the popular support of the population (which obviously must be the case because theyre killing more iraqis, UN workers , Red Cross workers, NGO's than US troops) then hes not a freedom fighter , hes a terrorist.
I suppose the stepped up attacks would have nothing to do with the fact that as more and more, the country returns to normal, that democratic values become more appealing to the populace, that the populace see that the US are there to rebuild the country, to install democracy and get the hell out, that these Baathists, Al Qaeda deadenders and Syrian backed stirrers are terrified that they are losing the chance to keep Iraq in the fold of ratbag ME countries, and also threaten to the strangle hold of the other dictators and Islamic nutters in Saudi ,Iran and the other Gulf States?,,
