that is a very good article and have read many articles on that particular topic over the years.
The first thing that must happen though when buying and then holding is the stock MUST be in an uptrend.
Let profits run, for sure, which is what the article was saying.
You should still determine which way a stock is travelling to ensure you enjoy the ride.
Many people have been burnt by recent events because of their long term views and holding stocks through major downturns.
All in all a good article that still needs to be read in conjunction with ones investment/trading style.
