Colossians 1:16-17 "For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him. And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together."
This emphasizes the preexistence and eternal nature of Christ."

So lets put the truth in here, as per the Inters and the actual overwhelming Greek word definitions, come CLEAR theme = PROPHESY as per the John 1:1,2 TRUTH, instead of the creations of man, that come after the writers.

Isa 44:24 - Thus says Yehowah, your Redeemer, And He who formed you from the womb: “I Yehowah, who makes all; Who stretches out the heavens all alone, Who spreads abroad the earth by Myself;
Eph 3:9 - and to make all see what the fellowship of the mystery, which away from the beginning of the eternal has been hidden in God who created all.
Titus 1:9 - in hope of eternal life which God, who cannot lie, promised before time began,
Next = all in a figurative context, even the Son 'to be' = no name as such back then, hence confirmation, the Son to be.
1 Tim 1:9 - who has saved us and called with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began,

Rev 13:8 - Indeed worship themselves, all the dwelling upon the earth, which not to write the names of them, in the book of the Life the Lamb to slaughter, away from the establishment of the world.
Rev 3:14 - And the messenger thee in Laodicea church write: These says the Amen, the witness the faithful the true, the beginning, the creation, the God.
The following makes it clear, the context of the beginning, the creation, the God = All your creations, 100% begin in you = the Father, as per the above , and the plan as shown in John 1:18, the Son to be, was going to be made a Begotten God after or at His glorification.

Col 1:15 to 20 = ALL "to be" events.
Who is to be the image the of the God the invisible, firstborn of all creation, because in Him (= for this reason, the one to be born from Mary) to create the All (us) in the heavens and on the earth, the visible and the invisible, whether thrones or dominions, or rulers of authorities; the All through (on account of, by reason of, because of, for the sake of) Him for Him to be created.
And He is to be before (in front of) ALL, (us) the ALL in Him to establish. (Not yet)
And He to be the head of the body, the Church (Temple), who to be the beginning, firstborn out from the dead, so that to become in ALL Him to be preeminent, because in Him to take delight all the fulness (completion) to dwell through Him (on account of, by reason of, because of, for the sake of) Him to reconcile the ALL to Himself, having to make peace through the blood of the cross of Him, whether on the earth, or in the heavens.

All well and truly in a "to be", prophesy context and part of it's alignment and meanings, as per the following.
John 17:20-24 - I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word so that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me.
And the glory/word which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one: (One in word and what that means).
I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.
Father, I desire that they also whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory/word which You have given Me; for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.

Figuratively loved, in the plan and purpose, as God calls things not yet done as though they are Rom 4:17.
It is as plain as day, as to WHY He is referred to as the firstborn of creation.

ALL OF THE ABOVE AND MORE, IS THE PERFECT ALIGNMENT OF WHAT THE TRUTH OF JOHN 1:1,2 IS SHOWING = THE GOD AND FATHERS PLAN AND PURPOSE, ONGOING, IN PROGESS = TOWARD THE THEON - GOD.
