Are you by any chance aware, that way back, many Bibles for John's opener, instead of He and Him, that "this" or "it" were used, as in, the Key introduction is about the word - the word of God, what it means, represents and brings - the path first being made straight, OT into the NT = Yehowah the Father and His word Isa 40:3, Mal 3:1 = setting the stage, as what to expect, in the prologue and the Son then coming into the picture at 1:14 AFTER 1:13 = Baptism and 13 the Name NOT known = Rev 19:12, 13 = They have No idea what it means = Rev 3:12, Rev 2:17 = The Hidden Manna - NAME meaning.
The Son at 14 picks up the torch and runs with it, giving a Perfect Chronological flow of the prologue, instead of it running around like a Chook, that's just had it's head chopped off, running all over the place and no continuous flow.
What you are in effect saying, is the Son is Word and He is the Image of the Father, so ask yourself, WHAT is Word the Image of = WORD.

Last Adam, He became Spirit life giving = that which is born of Spirit is spirit = His baptism, deemed as Spirit and the Life giving = the Fathers words, John 6:63,68, John 5:26, as the father John 1:4, has life = words, in Himself, so has He given to the Son words - Due 18:18 etc, to the Son to have life in himself.

5:26 is zero to do with pre-existing.
No passage exist, claiming that he had to pre-exist, or could not just be man, but made in a different way - Heb 2:7,9 = made, not reduced,.... that would mean, he would not be good enough, to atone for sins.
Nothing like that is in the Bible, so why people add that notion, is a Big mystery.

You also need to realize, all these verses where is has "all things" = a big no, no, it is simply "the all" = heavenly and earthly beings.
Subject to further checking, as some put it, the Col is in fact referring to a second creation, the life eternal aspect, through the Son.
But as of ATM, I'm seeing reasons for that not stacking up, but as per what I posted.
Even John 1:3, is not "all things", but simply - All through Him came into being = Father Isa 44:24, alone and by himself and the "through" is not referring to the through, in the other verses, using such.
Other usages context - Through = on account of, by reason of, because of, for the sake of, the Father created for the one to be and that is the reason He is referenced as the firstborn = first plan, cap of the ranks, to be and everyone else, a 2ndary plan for Him.

Then, after the Baptism, jointly the Clock, I and the Father are one in Word/Time = Rev's Temple.
24 Elders, 24 thrones = 24hrs, the Son's 12 Apostles 12hrs, beginning at the 13hrs = above 1 The Word = Father, the glory/word fuel for the Lamp 13 to 12hrs, the Light - Sion-Judah over Zion-Israel.

This is what my gut, or numerous Dots as suggesting, the stage has been set, and it maybe mid the 7yrs, before there is maybe, a grand Pentecost repeat, after the 2 witness's, which it appears, will be ignored.
And don't be surprise if the 2 are not the 2 x 144,000 the 14 group, appear to have the Lamb all over them, and do not fit the other group, imo.
And the reference to the Two names being mentioned, I'd suggest is very relevant, as in a standout, and linked to Rev 19:12,13 etc.
And IMO, 19:12,13 links to Matt 7:22,23?
