Revelation 1:
7 “Look, he is coming with the clouds,”[a] and “every eye will see him,even those who pierced him”;
and all peoples on earth “will mourn because of him.”So shall it be! Amen.
I think it means that his coming will be obvious even to those who crucified him, who will regret what they did, but they can't change what they did.

When the Son comes, every eye will see = I believe it should be perceive, to the extent, that it's = to, or more than seeing, via the Spirit, as in a Download type thing.
I think that "perceive is what is meant. "I see" is often used when "I perceive" is meant.
Now it says they will mourn, as it appears, the penny will drop.
Perhaps the penny will drop refers when they realise what they had done when they crucified Jesus.
So, the question is, why would a non follower mourn?I suppose we all feel a sense of horror and shame when humans are cruel to fellow humans.
For example, I felt a sense of horror and shame when a guy entered a mosque in New Zealand and killed several Muslims, even though I'm not exactly in favour of Islam.
Most it would seem, claim they mourn because they miss out - But it doesn't say that = adding.
I don't know what they feel that they are missing out on. Agree, it would be "adding".
So, if one is going to add ----- one could say, perhaps it means a big turn around???
It would be a big turnaround.
