You still haven’t done that. What you’ve provided is a mixture of assumed conclusions, traditional interpretations, and a long-winded defense of why
you feel it's okay to base belief on post-biblical developments. But this was never about how you feel — it’s about
what is written.

If a core doctrine like the Trinity can’t be explained plainly from Scripture, without relying on man-made councils or creeds, then it’s built on assumptions — not the foundation of God’s Word.
You quoted verses like Genesis 1:26, Matthew 28:19, John 1:1, and 2 Corinthians 13:14 — fair enough. But quoting passages where the Father, Son, and Spirit are mentioned does
not prove the doctrine of
one God in three co-equal persons. That is a theological conclusion — not a biblical statement.
In fact, here’s what’s missing from your entire response:
- No verse where Yeshua teaches “three persons in one God.”
- No verse where the apostles preach a “Trinity” to new believers.
- No verse where the early believers are instructed in such a model.
And please don’t confuse my asking for
Scripture only with rudeness. It’s not “dictating,” it’s
doing what Yeshua did — pointing to the Word alone. He never said, “Run to the Church for truth.” He said:
“It is written…” (Matthew 4:4, 4:7, 4:10)
“Sanctify them in the truth—Your word is truth.” (John 17:17)
If Scripture is sufficient to equip us for every good work (2 Timothy 3:16–17), then I should be able to explain doctrine from Scripture alone. That is not Protestantism — that is basic biblical accountability.
Lastly, accusing me of being “Protestant” simply because I don’t follow the RCC is a dodge.
I don’t follow Protestantism either. I follow Yeshua and what is written. If Protestants echo that truth, great. If they don’t, I reject them too. I test everything by the Word — not by denomination.
So again:
If the Trinity is truth, show it from Scripture — not from what was “coined” centuries after Yeshua ascended.
If it’s foundational, Yeshua and the apostles would have taught it directly and plainly.
You said I can’t tell you what sources to use. Fair. But when your source is
not Scripture, and you're defending doctrine that contradicts plain biblical teaching, you leave no room for the Spirit to speak through the Word alone.
And for the record — I'm not here to win arguments. I’m here to
point back to Yeshua and the Word of YHWH. That’s my only authority. If that makes me a pest, then so be it.
Let’s keep the discussion grounded in Scripture — not tradition, not assumptions, not councils. That’s all I ask.
