Different strokes for different folks - if indicators work for you, then well and good. If it ain't broke then don't fix it!
I guess I was just alluding to the truism that often times "less is more", and I think in technical analysis and in trading the financial markets in general, it is usually the case. Newbies usually clog up their charts with so much cr*p and 99% of them couldn't even give you an accurate, basic definition of even one of the indicators they rely on so heavily. They play russian roulette with real money, basing trading decisions about how to invest large amounts of their cash on complex indicators they don't fully comprehend. Madness!
Just my personal bias coming through Andrew - I have no reason to believe you are not a thoroughly competent trader who successfully uses all of your indicators. After all, we came to the same conclusions about XJO didn't we (lol).
