    The graph you posted is for above ground gasification of coal that has been mined, transported to an above ground gasifier, turned into Syngas and then converted to liquids.

    LNC is using UCG in combination with GTL. This is the first time it has been done before. The GHG footprint for using UCG with GTL should roughly be the same as refining conventional oil to diesel.
