    Geosequestration of CO2 is in addition to the GHG savings of using UCG to feed into the GTL plant. The savings come from the reduction in energy expended to get the Syngas. Also, the methane in the coal seam is used to sustain the UCG burn and not released into the atmosphere like conventional coal mining.
