I remember when the trail was completed and the gold was weighed and the various mining licenses/permits where awarded immediately afterwards so we could have begun mining there and then.....

You guys all seem to be wanting a big slice of a small pie and you want that slice now. Cant argue with that. I have self restraint, I'm happily waiting for a smaller slice of a bigger pie that is still in the oven.

You guys must have a Dragons Den/Shark Tank style venture capitalist show down there? Ever see the people with the opportunity to get a bank loan to fund there businesses, yet go on the show looking to give 30-50% of their businesses away.... why?

Expertise. They realise they do not have the expertise to make the most of the opportunity and they realise that having a smaller slice of a much bigger, tastier, less burnt pie is how to do things properly.
