I sold most of my RIO shares several months ago as I wanted to move my money into other areas. I kept a small amount - something like 13 shares, about a thousand dollars, in RIO in order to remain on the books.
As I hold less than 40 shares, am I still entitled to purchase an additional 6 shares? I am thinking of buying more shares but I'm not sure if I want to buy enough to bring my total up to 40 as the rest of my cash is very soon going into other rights entitlements and share purchase plans.
Can anyone confirm whether there is a minimum amount of shares (40) one must hold in order to participate?
