    UT,

    70/80% of property investors claiming negative gearing are on income of 80k or less per year, thats not a strong footing if property is to stagnate(fall?).

    plus we have ageing population headwinds, lots of baby boomers would be retiring within next decade, at a percentage much higher than migrants and natural work force increase.

    Due to backlash from media polies would not be tempted to increase migrants intake, infact they may even decrease it.
