There was three reasons for Zimbabwe famine. One was drought, one of the worst in history. Second was loss of foreign income due to political instability. Third was reduction in food stock. The black farmers' lack of expertise in farming was no doubt a contributing factor for the third reason, but rather a minor role overall.
