We're arguing on two different points. Blackeyed argued that because it's on every tin, consumer knows that it's from NZ. I'm arguing from a marketing / daigou perspective, consumer "think" A2 is an Australian product.
I rely on my friend who runs a daigou style shop to get the consumer perception and it overwhelmingly supports the fact that most consumer who buy A2 think it's an Australian product. The daigous are marketing it as an Australian product therefore any deteriorating relationship between China and Australia does have an impact on A2. My argument does not have negate the fact is all tins are made in NZ.
The flaw with my argument is that I am basing my thought on Vietnamese consumer and not Chinese. If anyone here can show me the link to chinese Daigou advertising this is an New Zealand product would definitely change my mind.
