If it makes no difference, then why is Q2 usually stronger than Q1?
It's a necessary but not sufficient condition for the company's performance. Stronger sales in11/11 would be good but also important is what happens afterwards. If they only pull forward sales from December and Jan then it is cancelled out. Last year, however, as you know there were other issues going on to do with oversupply, so it will be interesting to see if things are different now.
As @praveensays99 notes it is one data point among many for people to consider.
