I wonder how many new shares the shorts picked up today, or did those shorts ended up shorting amongst themselves? It might sound naïve, but I can’t imagine that many general investors / traders would continually be tricked by shorts over and over again for such a long time.
We shouldn’t under-estimate that many who trade online these days are also very internet savvy, and forum-informed. We shouldn’t under-estimate that many are now fully aware of how Short-trading works, and how prevalent it has become, particular with LYC. With news on TOL just around the corner, shorts may want to rethink their ‘Fire, fire. Quick. Sell, sell’ tactic. They may just end up selling themselves short, or even worse, have smart fence-sitters and vultures pounce on any shares as the shorts offload them cheaply.
Thanks to them shorts, I managed to pick up some more today at bargain basement price!
Wonder if a TH would be back tomorrow morning for the pending announcement tomorrow arvo?
