Im not a technical investor although I do enjoy having the technical side available as well.

For me its all about the Fundamentals of a company.

Things like, Management, Staff, past projects.

Try to gain as many different angles of information as you can. Learn to read the reports. Compare the reports with the reports of other similar companies.

Try and do some background research on the directors. ASIC website can provide info on previous and current directorsships both successful and unsuccesful.

Broaden your intake on info as much as you can, the more sources the better, however they will not always be truthful, you will need to filter them.
