What is the difference between "high level corruption smugglers" and "sophisticated high level government official smugglers"?

This kind of fiddle-faddle is another reason for reading message boards. Enertainment.

The motivation to post is usually to become better informed. In fact, most people do the opposite: they misinform, either because they own the stock wearing rose coloured glasses or because they are paid pumpers. A company like Lynas depends upon these rampers, without them few retail investors would buy the stock.

Let's not forget: The retail investor pays for everything in every stage of exploration including banks, interest etc. So cheers to the rampers, they are the real "funding experts". They are the big buddies with declamatory speeches, they are creative by making up stories (like the full time poster who claimed to be an entrepreneur with a side job as a forex trader).

In the case of Lynas they managed to hype a stock by setting up a something that had little to do with the products that are now suffering from dramatic price decline. Anyone who every multiplied the "basket-hoax" by 11k x 1000 would forget and don't even care how many shares are out. That was indeed a clever one.

Now reality sets in, the people have to hope for a few millions and divide them by 2 billion securities in order to determine the current value of the venture.
