nursery, I got into lynas in 2005, and out in 2007. I'm a serious investor, in the sense that it is my living; but not a trader. So those two years involved keeping a close eye on my eggs, which were in only half a dozen baskets. You gain a lot of knowledge in two years research, and it is a waste just to walk away from a company when you've built up detailed information. I've read most of the announcements since then, plus a lot of articles on REE applications and substitutions. I went farming, and missed Lynas fall to 13c, otherwise I might have bought back in. It is still a unique company, but has many headwinds still to manoeuvre.
Most of my posts are to correct misinformation which is usually from holders so they are seen as downramping. Or to answer questions. I did chemical engineering at uni and worked in the industry, before I became a chartered accountant, so I'm even qualified to talk about many of the issues with Lynas. I even worked on commissioning kilns.
I have no intention of shorting, but may buy back in later when the way forward is clear; or rather, if the way forward becomes clear.
From my posts it should be clear why I don't hold - I think it is still going down.
