Thorium Reactors are not on the agenda for the DOE as far as I can see, could be wrong though?
But I do know that the PRISM reactor "IS" on the DOE's radar, GE just got some money to investigate what they have, I reckon Savanah River will be the target site for GE?
Let's wait and see, but I don't reckon Thorium reactors will win the day somehow?
If they do? thenthere is less in it for Silex (just producing start up fuel) than what there is in a PRISM reactor and an attached ARC to provide fuel for the PRISM and also fuel back to LWR's.
