What was not mentioned about The Mount in the current announcement, but has been reported before, is the possible repeat (imho EXTREMELY LIKELY) of The Mount next door that has little or no drilling and no historic mining. This has been identified by surface geochemistry, which compares favorably with the same technology used over The Mount, so we can assume the results are calibrated to the area.
Apparently similar age gold deposits, that share many other characteristics to The Mount, that are mined in other parts of the world, are typically HUGE! The Mount may well be a company maker, as suggested in the announcement.
Management can only report reserves and resources to JORC standards, calculated from drilling, and allude to their gut feelings. FML's technical team have a very good grip on local geology, and have amassed a huge historical data base which is constantly being added to.
