The numbers came out of thin air I suspect.
Market excited by a settlement prospect, however I just went over every release for Applera for the recent reporting season and still not one single word.

Applera group consolidated only made $58.6 net profit for the last 6 months so say 116 mio for the year. If the number they were even thinking about settling was near the number suggested, well their might be some clause in their financials .... not a single one .... sorry to say but suspect either a lesser amount or more drag out by Applera.

Still expect some more excitement with GTG as Nasdaq listing coming up, and expect a promotional push proir to that.
