I find first imagining something is helpful when setting about then making it happen.

Imagine huge solar and wind capacity driving green hydrogen and green steel production as well as green hydrogen production in the form of ammonia in the NW of WA. Ditto green hydrogen co-located with bauxite mining to produce green aluminium, and potentially green hydrogen hubs around the country to drive low carbon, energy cheap, smart technology heavy industry and manufacturing.

FMG have imagined this, and much more, and in fine detail. With US government support via the Inflation Reduction Act, these imaginings are being brought to life in the US, where FMG is now a key player. The Federal and WA Governments are combining to invest in distribution infrastructure in WA to make it possible to bring these imaginings to life in WA. Ditto in North Qld.

Compare the merit of lifting productive capacity and output in zero to low carbon, value adding refining, heavy industry and manufacturing in Australia to the virtue of instead rewriting classic literature, renaming Australian towns and places, forcing equal opportunity ahead of meritorious employment, adding layers of virtuous debate to anything meritorious the country seeks to do.
