My dear departed Dad said a fair while back that things have changed in society and not for the better. The best years are behind us...he was referring to the wonderful time of my childhood where we had stuff all but lived a wonderful life.
I never ever thought I would ever repeat the phrase the 'good ol' days'.
I feel sorry that my kids just missed out and my grand kids will never know the simple joys in life and that a Pom and Ding were simply soccer mates
