Norway do have some ethical and economic issues to tackle if their commitment to net zero is to be achieved. The country is well advanced to achieving that domestically but its economy prosperity is dependent on oil and gas exports, "the Norwegian climate change paradox." The government and oil and gas industry continue towards a green path of production but appears not to recognise the implications of its use. There are comparisons to be made with Australia's coal exports.
