however, if TAS falls to 10 cents, the loss made on TAS from 20 cents to 10 cents is 50% whereas the loss made on TASO from 15 cents to 5 cents is 66%

TASO does not hold that much leverage anymore due to the rise in the TAS share price

you want to buy options when they are very cheap

for example, if you bought TAS at 5 cents and TASO at 2 cents, the TAS gain to $1 would be 1,900% where as the TAS gain to $1 would be 4,750%
