the way I see it is the Muslims people have had a lot of years experiencing being shunned, insulted, tagged as suspected terrorists by we non-Muslim people. I know from various people there is an alienated undercurrent as much as there is among Aboriginal people.

naaaahhh Aussies aren't racist, we just want them to be like us.

but the real question is what can we imagine this will do for our democracy?

will it damage our system? or open doors to better communication?

there are enough people who fear Shariah law..... could this eventually be a real question?

Jason Clare, Tony Burke and Chris Bowen can’t be happy. All have electorates with a large % of Islamic vote. Problem will be whether the group/independents can do deals with other parties for preferences like the teals did
