You're way wide of the mark there.
No-one is forcing these people to come to Australia.
They are not genuine refugees.
They are travelling through at least 1 safe haven country and are PAYING to travel here.
Save your tears for something else.
Most Australians have had enough of these illegal arrivals and the massive costs being incurred.
We want a government that is prepared to take whatever actions are required to stop the illegal trade, stop the arrivals and stop the massive costs.
If you feel so strongly about the issue and want to go on a lifetime crusade then leave Australia, and work in a genuine refugee camp providing assistance where it is needed.
