You seem to be implying that less Australians would be willing to live near a wind farm than near a nuclear facility.
Is that your point? Then show me a survey that says so.
The willingness of many people to have residential wind turbines in their back yard is evidence that they wouldn't be as bothered by wind farms as they would be by a nuke.
