Before the NDIS there were a number of Community not for profit organizations who conducted many programs including supported employment.
Some of them were involved in trail programs for the NDIS which clearly showed the scheme we have now would not be viable.
Government Funding was withdrawn from them and after Administrators were called in to empty their accounts and Assets sold off to private operators, drawing on new NDIS funding, finished up with these community assets.
I am not saying that some of them are not doing a good job but some are having a nice time with NDIS easy money.
I am happy for those who benefit under the NDIS but why should the over 65 be excluded
The NDIS was a great idea however it has gone far beyond what is affordable.
Where will it all end up?
