Looking at it some carers of people with disabilities are able to arrange periodic respite care so they can have a break. I've heard on the radio one particular lady who looks after her disabled partner complaining that a facility she used to use for such purposes stopped offering that service of hospital like care that her partner needs.
Anyway it seems that a business has come up with an offering for those eligible for short term care in their NDIS packages of cruises instead of wherever they usually are accommodated.
