A number of former colleagues who have visited NextDC's P1 facility say that it is technologically outstanding. I've visited/worked in a number of DCs across Perth but while I haven't visited P1, I'm impressed by what I've heard in regards to security and equipment.

I'll also point out that a number of the DCs that AJD own are partially solar-powered.

Here's an article on M1, which claims it is the largest privately funded solar array in Australia.

So yes, I do think Australian co's have the vision. It just takes time.
