From my experience with other biotech.startups, once the reliable profits quarter on quarter start to materialise an annual dividend will be declared for the first year or two to appease the patient shareholders. This is usually 40-50% of earnings. The rest is reinvested into the business. A few years later is when we would expect to see the first takeover bid from larger players.
