Someone has probably been reading the Cambodian news (Khmer Rouge Times) and seen that over 30 gold mines have been shut down in Cambodia in the last month, as a result of the mining water poisoning case that recently killed 13 villagers in Kratie.

This is going to be a long and protracted problem, and no new mines are going to be granted for years.

This has also become a huge election issue in this years Cambodian elections. And if the environmental parties win, then you can forget mining altogether for many (many) years.

I expect that someone has just reviewed their level of risk and decided it's too great for them at the moment in Cambodia.

Nothing is going to happen in Cambodia before elections, anyone who thinks so, has never studied the history and politics of the country.

I expect this is why EMR has seen all the buyers disappear. Similar to RED.

EMR may have to also shelve plans for a couple of years and pursue exploration projects in other countries, or back in Australia (like RED have done) for a while.
