the needle

Put your hand up anyone who likes getting a needle? Anyone? No-one?

Same with me, I don't like it.

I'm a very virile and robust alpha-male (just joking, I'm actually a big sook) but I find that going to the doctor where a needle is involved always fills me with apprehension.

He/she gets me to roll up my sleeve and I start to feel a little queasy. Then they rub alcohol on the spot where they intend to inflict the pain.

By this time my tension is becoming obvious and the inevitable calming statement comes "this won't hurt a bit".

Finally the moment of truth arrives and in plunges the horrible hypordermic!!!

    Then what?

Then nothing. It actually doesn't hurt much at all. I was all worried and tense over nothing!

Well this is what EXT's rise and rise and rise and rise has been doing to me.

I knew that it had to slow down. I knew that buyers had to be overwhelmed by sellers at some point but was never sure when that would happen.

The anticipation of it was painful, when oh when will this consolidate?

Now that it is actually happening it is a relief. The pain is nothing compared to the pain of anticipation.

We'll get this out of the way, we will consolidate for a little while and then the next leg up can begin.
