The problem is no matter how good someone's accounting skill is, we won't be able to verify the real margins at this stage of growth since the company will never disclose the information in enough detail (nor should they as it will be too sensitive information.)
The company has stated that margins will be 30-60% for full scale commercial sales. They have also stated they've been supplying at cost or even lower for customers in trial stages. Hence the low margins in the latest financials.
We won't know the real numbers for sure until more customers are converted into full commercial production.
