chuck's posted article is just some more political ranting from or on behalf of the democratic party and a few sour-faced lefties who have not yet come to terms with the demise of the soviets.
The democrats in America, like labor in Australia, have become a failed political party with no policies, no personalities, not chance of reelection in any upcoming election cycle, and so just attempt to continuously smear the personalities of the party currently in power.
If there is an expansion of the war in the middle east to include Iran and Syria, it will be due to the policies, activities and actions, and threats posed by the fruit-cakes in power in Iran and syria, rather than any nefarious planning and plotting by any group of so-called "neocons", of chuck's wet-dreams.
It would be irresponsible of the current Bush administration and the security apparatus of the US government not to have a variety of contintency plans in place for number of potential scenarios. Good to see that they have a sound set of plans in place.

The next part of this quote goes along the lines of: "Who do you want to win this next World War?"
