I wouldn't like it either but I think small shareholders need to be realists and pragmatic here. It aint us who write the corporate tax law, put in inefficient productivity constraints in the economy etc (that's Gov and Unions), It aint us who are not supporting the company (where are the instos on the share register?), it aint us who were handed "free shares" (hedge funds), but is WAS us funding all the poor decision making the last couple of years. and it WAS us taking on the risk (by purchasing and holding stock on market).
I'll be leaving the tear shedding for others thanks. I don't see why I personally should be paying for it... I'll leave all the warm fuzzy feel good feelings to the docs and scientists.
I'm in this to make money. Otherwise why have a corporate healthcare stock at all..? might as well have a Gov run co-o like the early CSL and the Gov paying for the early risk...
