Not really .. Taskin built Thailand from ruin into a stable economic powerhouse in SE Asia, second only to Singapore..

Taskin gave free medical care to the poor of the North East of Thailand ( which infurated the rich in Bangkok ), gave the poor affordable loans, built a new airport, built a awesome mobile phone network, a network that is better than Australia's imo ... but Taskin is 'not' from Bangkok, and all power must remain in Bangkok with the rich .. so the Army comes out and puts in a Bangkok government ...

You can't have an ex-policeman from Chaing Mai running Thailand ... according to Bangkok ...

Taskin is only just getting started ... the guy is a mastermind and I think he is the best politican of the last 15 years ... behind J Howard and Robert Hill ..

This is good for Thailand ...
