I don't see anything wrong with shorting, itself. Its just part of the market like buying options (of a stock) etc.

What I really dislike is when some posters post terrible fake news about our company , which has the aim of trying to get people to sell and lower the SP - its really underhanded. The newbie investors who are looking for genuine information, may get taken in by fake news.

And as for trying to short our company over the last few months - wow! MLL has been in a solid uptrend for I'd say, at least 6 months now, long ago the company announced it was making plans to focus on developing our gold projects in light of the strong gold price - of which is forecast to increase. Shorting requires a lot of research.
