Unfortunately, the corporate culture in Australia is built on unadulterated greed and a sense of entitlement. I get newbies receiving incentives with reference to the depressed share price at the time of their appointment, but when your incentive package consists of 90c options and then you recycle management so you can recycle your own package by aligning new incentives with those of new management, you are basically telegraphing that you have no integrity whatsoever and only care about feathering your own nest.
The latest share issue to Directors at a record low share price is a sad reflection on their ethical standards no matter how positively the company tries to spin it with positive rhetoric.
