HAVE AN EXIT STRATEGY.

if you can't weather the storm you could lose more if you hold on for longer.

i.e.
debt - 300k
payments - 1200 p.m

- you lose your job and hold for 6 months:
debt - 300k + 1200 x 6 = 307,200 + interest inceases
