Hi, I have three kids and have owned Adventurer and has done what is needed. I didn’t want them to enter the Apple ecosystem too early and also spoil them with something like an Apple Watch. My kids go to a state school and have had a few friends with an adventurer, while their private school friends own Apple watches. Not keen to start a private vs public debate, but 2 markets it seems. Big W and David Jones. My eldest have moved onto iPhones while 10 year old uses Spacetalk still, but only when going to Royal show, big events in case she gets lost, sleepovers etc. I am looking into options for elderly parent this week as he fell recently and couldn’t get up and looking at the life. I think there are a lot of parents out there who want to avoid big tech for as long as possible before exposing their kids to the horrible world of crapchat etc.
