the new tech is just not for ungerwater welding

Ive been reading all the hype on hotcopper re NMS, just a side issue no one has picked up on this new technology will also benefit the petrochemical/oil/gas industries saving them millions $$, for example petrochemical/process plants have to shut down at least every 2 years for staturary checks/repairs for from 2-4 weeks, because of volatile gases. This new technology will allow a lot of less down time, this will have a flow on effect to the profits of these companies
