For the record, this really makes no sense .. Visa is a payment network, not a card issuer/ financial institution.. So in order for this to happen you would need a third party.. Think of the Apple Card and MasterCard.. it is issued by Goldman Sachs .. If Afterpay decided to issue a card , it would have to be in partnership with a bank .. and it would be dumb to issue with one brand only .. if anything it would be brand agnostic , with brands, Visa + MC ... the ”pilot” with Visa has nothing to do with issuing cards ... It is simply a way for Visa to evaluate a solution that has widespread use in Latin America and some parts of Europe .. and more similar to the Splitit model .. lets not make this more confusing ... as always , DYOR... cheers
