In fact Clinton operative and now mayor of perpetual war zone Chicago (despite being "gun-free") stated:
"You never want a serious crisis to go to waste. And what I mean by that is an opportunity to do things you think you could not do before."

It does seem to represent the way that those with the time, cash-flow, personel at their disposal and immunity from prosecution tend to view the flow of history...

But of course you would not believe any of that if you put your faith in the media as some still do...
