My Aunty said to me 20 years ago after returning from a trip to the middle east that she feared greatly for our future as she felt the rest of the world would not let us continue to live like this with our lavish ways while they suffer.
The hatred for our western ways is now growing daily, they see us as weak and unholy infidels who serve no purpose on this earth. Is massive military retaliation against isis etc the answer ? Its probably already to late, our way of life is certainly on a rocky road now.
